Happy 50th Birthday Mami!

Last week was my moms 50th Birthday. We took her to her favorite club and let her hang loose. She had so much fun. Just a few hundred of her closest family and friends showed up. Here are just a few pictures from the wild night!

A blog post about nothing.

Last night I was over at Chaz's house and we got into a serious discussion. I don't know how the conversation started but it got me thinking.
He said the sentence "Nothing lasts forever".
I'm not going to lie and say it didn't offend me because it did at that exact moment. Here I am, in my head thinking about forever and here he is just simply living in the moment and not thinking about forever just yet.
Which is perfectly fine.
It's honestly how life should be. Living in the moment and seeing where life takes you, not worrying about the future. Men's brains are completely different than women's brains and that's his mindset and that is ok.  But as I said before, it got me thinking. Yes, in hindsight and in "real life" nothing does last forever. Relationships end, fairy tales don't exist, blah blah blah. What is so wrong with me believing in a happily "forever" after? He also said something along the lines of fairy tales aren't real life. Which he is completely right about that too.
Where do you think I'm going with this you ask?
Well . . Yes, I believe in forever. Yes, I believe in soul mates and a little thing called destiny. Yes, I believe in true love, and I believe in love at first sight. I believe in all that mushy gushy crap.
I believe in fairy tales
and in the end I don't think theres anything wrong with me having that mindset...
Random point made.
I don't know what I am blabbing on about. Just ignore me.

The Ultimate Cruise Playlist!

9 days until my Caribbean Cruise!!
I was on Spotify the other day jamming to music when it occurred to me that I needed a vacation playlist. I searched far and wide for an awesome Cruise playlist and all I came up with was the titanic song "My Heart Will go On - Celine Dion" and actual cruise singers music that was more like Karaoke music. Now there is nothing wrong with that style of music but I wanted music that was fun, and tropical and that you can easily dance to. I decided that I was going to make one of my own. Chaz plans on taking a little radio so I thought a playlist would be perfect for the drive to the port to pump us up, and also for when we're in the room or lounging by the pool! I wanted to share it with you all. What other songs should I add to the playlist?
1. Follow The Leader - The Soca Boys
2. Phenomenal - Benjai
3. Block Party - DJ Laz
4. Beer in Mexio - Kenny Chesney
5. Margaritaville - Jimmy Buffett
That's all I got for now, but come back to see what else I added (:
Happy Monday ♥

Pink & Gold Planner Printable (FREE)

Happy Planning ♥

Happy Monday! It's chilly, well windy, and not sunny in sunny South Florida. That means fall is finally making it's way down to these parts. Only 13 Days until Halloween. That means 13 nights of Halloween is starting tonight on ABC Family. Hocus Pocus is finally going to be on TV. Finally! Only 16 days until my Cruise Vacation for my little sisters birthday!! So many awesome things to look forward to.

This weekend was definitely more on the relaxing side. I didn't do anything on Friday. The usual. Netflix and Pizza. Hey I'm not complaining. Favorite parts of my weekend include Netflix and Pizza. Chaz worked that night and I had to be up really early to work Saturday Morning. I was out cold by 9 pm.

I worked in the morning and headed over to Chaz's house in the afternoon. We ended up going to the Mall and did a little cruise shopping. He did most of the shopping. I bought makeup & sunglasses.

Chaz wanted to go for the Australian look for the cruise. He nailed it.

The Raphael Ninja Turtle is our thing

They had a popcorn stand at the mall. We couldn't resist. Fresh Chocolate drizzled Caramel Popcorn! YUM.

After a long day of shopping we got some well needed massages

At night we stayed home. Chaz's sister and her boyfriend came over and we ordered pizza, drank Johnnie Walker and played video games.

We went to go eat at Chaz's favorite Mexican restaurant La Bamba. He was craving the Chips and Salsa. I'm not much a Mexican food lover except for tacos, but their Palomilla steak was good. Still nothing like a Cuban Palomilla steak though. After, we went to Barnes & Noble and I bought Nicholas Sparks newest novel See Me. I literally only read the prologue and I was hooked. Went home, and we played more video games the rest of the day.

See a laid back relaxing weekend. We needed it because the next 3 weekends are going to be filled with parties and craziness. My mom turns 50 next weekend and we're throwing her a few fun parties. The weekend after that is Halloween, and the weekend after that is our Cruise.

Was your weekend just as slack as mine? I'm joining in on the fun over at Bianas Page ♥

Ipsy Glam Bag Review: October 2015.

I joined Ipsy back in 2011 when it started. I had received all the bags from December 2011 through July 2013. Towards the beginning I was very fond of all the products that they were placing in the bag. By July of 2013, I wasn't into the glam bag anymore. A lot of the products that they were placing in the bags, were products that I would never used. I opted out and unsubscribed. Over the years, I've kept an eye on Ipsy and I like how much they have grown. They now have the quiz and you can update your style. Also my beauty preferences have matured. I thought I'd give Ipsy another shot and I re-subscribed for this month.

October 2015 Glambag Review: Alter Ego

Peter Lamas
Exfoliating Pumpkin Facial Scrub
I don't know how I feel about this product. To start off with, I am not a facial scrub type of girl and I dislike everything pumpkin. It did smell nice though and left my face feeling soft.
After reading some reviews? They were very mixed. Some loved the product, and others were on the fence like me.
Would I buy or recommend this product? Definitely not. It's just not my style.
Deluxe LipSurgence Skintuitive Lip Gloss in Energy
I really loved this product. I have very dry lips. I'm constantly putting on chapstick. This lasted me over 5 hours. Even after the lip gloss was gone, my lips felt moisturized and were very soft.
After reading reviews? A lot more positive reviews than nevegative. Most of the negative reviews were that they weren't fans of lip gloss, or it was to sticky.
Would I buy or recommend this product? Yes. Yess. Yesss.

Exotic & Spicy Eau de Parfum
I liked that it was a roll on perfume. The smell is ok. It's not the worst, but I like sweeter softer smells. The name does go with the smell. It is a strong fragrance. Perfect for night wear.
After reading reviews? Many would not buy this scent. They complained that it was more for older woman of age. I agree, but that does not mean I would never wear this.
Would I buy or recommend this product? Maybe. If it wasn't to expensive and sold just like the sample. I wouldn't wear this very often, but I would wear it.
BB Tinted Moist Crème SPF30
I am a big fan of Sunscreen and moisturizers. I am no big fan of concealer, foundation, cover up, or putting a ton of cake on my face. I was very pleased with this product. The color doesn't match my skin entirely but it is a nice alternative for moisturizer, sunscreen and cover up all together.
After reading reviews? This was a big hit with a lot of other Ipsy ladies. Most of the girls said the same thing. Great coverage and left their skin nice and soft.
Would I buy or recommend this product? I wouldn't buy it just because I don't use products like these but I would recommend it to other girls.
theBalm Cosmetics
Mary-Lou Manizer
Great shadow for highlighting and giving your eyes a little extra shimmer. Very subtle and gave my skin a soft glow. Loved this product.
After reading reviews? A lot of positive reviews. Got 4.5 stars out of 5. All the positive reviews said the same thing. Very light, but gives you that nice pop of a honey gold color. Very few negatives stated that they liked the color but it was to light and wished that they did not have to build on it.
Would I buy or recommend this product? Yes and yes. I loved the color and the shimmer. I also liked that it was a very soft hue and that it was not dramatic.
Overall I liked this months glambag. I wished there were more darker colors to represent the fall. Maybe I'll just update my quiz again. Did you receive the same products as me? What did you think of them? Did you receive anything different in your glam bag?

I confess.

I confess that I am going on a cruise in less than 23 days!!

I confess that I am beyond exited.

I confess that by November 5th (Cruise Day) you will be annoyed with all my cruise posts.

I confess that it is 9 am in the morning and my stomach is already grumbling for food. I am such a fat ass.

I confess that I was extremely surprised and really happy when Chaz came over and surprised me at 11:45 pm on Monday ♥

I confess that the surprise was perfect but would've been just a percentage better if he would've shown up with junk food, but I'm not complaining. Beggars can't be choosers.

I confess that it annoys me when bloggers don't have a follow me widget. Sure I can follow you by email, but i'd rather have have you on my actual blogger feed.

I confess that it also annoys me when bloggers don't acknowledge you back after you leave such a nice comment or you follow their blog. It's called nice blogger etiquette. -.-

I confess that this weekend is Octoberfest in Ft. Lauderdale and I plan on getting wasted on beer and fat on some German Food.

I confess that I have not seen one episode of Hawaii Five-O or Once upon a time because I am so wrapped up in the Greys Anatomy Seasons on Netflix. I am a terrible fan. They are all being DVRd at the moment, so at least I can always go back and watch them.

I confess that I look both ways when I cross one way streets.

I confess that I use to love going out every night of the week, but now I would rather just be lazy in bed with Netflix.

I confess that I have some cute Sticker ideas coming up for Freebie Fridays!

I confess that I am running out of things to confess about.

Happy Hump Day ♥

I am linking up with Plucky in Love. You should join in on the fun!

15 Reasons why being short is actually better.

1. You'll always look younger than your actual age. I'll look like i'm 18 when I'm in my 30s.

2. You can be lazy and let tall people reach stuff for you.

3. Finding your way through a packed crowd is easy because you fit between anything and anyone.

4. If you're single you have a multitude of men to choose from. You can date short or tall guys! Tall girls can only date tall dudes.

5. You get drunk faster because your so short booze goes straight through you.

6. You always totally kick ass at limbo and always win!

7. Kids love you because they think you're on of them. You easily become bestfriends and they give you all their gummie snacks.

8. You can nap anywhere because you fit anywhere.

9. You're allowed to use taller people as shields from enemies and any factors (rain, sun, zombies coming towards you)

10. Taller people let you stand in front of them at concerts. While your tall friends are all the way in the back, you're holding Kenny Chesney's hand all the way in the front.

11. You don't have to do laundry as often as a tall person. Your clothes are so small you can fit a months load of laundry in one shot.

12. You can escape from awkward or uncomfortable group conversations and no one ever knows you're gone.

13. You're an amazing cuddler because you fit perfectly in everyone's arms.

14. Your feet never dangle over a bed and blankets are never not long enough.

15. Short people are actually better at just about everything in life. It's a fact.

In case you were wondering I am 4'10.
