Pipsticks Review // February 2016.

Last month I signed up for this awesome monthly subscription. If you're a planner nerd like me or ever a scrapbook junkie, this is the perfect subscription for you.

Do you love stickers?! I am obsessed with them.

Well that's what this subscription is. For under $15 a month you receive an envelope stuffed with sheets of stickers and a postcard or stationary here and there. You can choose between a $10 monthly subscription or the $15 one. I have the $15 subscription and I got my first pack last week. I thought I would share it with all you sticker lovers <3

They usually don't have themes but I'm guessing since it's the month of love they included a lot of heart stickers. I am so excited about that!!

Aren't these adorable? My favorites were the Candy Heart stickers.

Planner Questionnaire 2016!

Happy Twenty Sixteen!!

I can not believe it's a new year, and I can not believe that we are already halfway through January! 2015 was a wild ride, and I can't wait to see what 2016 has in store for me. 2015 was also a great planner year. It was such an awesome planner year, that I thought I would start Twenty-Sixteen with a Planner questionnaire. I borrowed these questions from Ally from filoally.net. I just found her blog and I am obsessed. Definitely go and check her out. She has the best planner advice and adorable instagram photos. If you're a fellow planner addict like moi, join in on the questionnaire fun!!

1. What made you want to start using a planner, and how do you maintain it?
I have been using planners ever since I can remember. Back in Elementary school and middle school, they would give you agendas and I use to fill them out completely. Much hasn't changed since then. I try to plan and decorate days in advance, but that usually never happens. I don't really like jotting down things weeks in advance unless it is a for sure event or appointment that is going to happen. I also like to write down on sticky notes usually before I jot it down in my planner. This way when it comes time to decorate and organize, it's not already a hot mess, but a clean canvas!

2. When did you start decorating your planner & what Etsy shop did you purchase from first?
Even though I have used planners my whole life, the thought of decorating and making my planner pretty never even came to my mind. The beginning of March last year, I was on YouTube and all of a Sudden Belinda Selene appeared and my whole planner world had changed. I went from the only decoration on my planner being different colored pens, to having stickers and washi tape galore. My first Etsy shop purchase were stickers with Turtles Kissing from Owl Things Lovely. If you didn't know. I am obsessed with Sea Turtles and Turtles in general.

3. How do you have so many planners and keep up day by day? Do you take out the specific week your on and put it in another planner?
I actually don't. I use one planner for everything for one whole year. I would love to be able to handle different planners for different things, but I like just having one specific spot for everything. Plus I carry my baby with me everywhere and my Kate Spade Wellesley is my planner peace.

4. How long did it take you to find a planner that worked for you?
I have switched planners like I switch my panties. It took me up until Christmas 2015 to find my perfect planner. My Kate Spade Wellesley! Before that I had an Erin Condren, but it began getting huge and really bulky. Before that I had a beautiful Pocket size planner from Barnes and Nobles but that was to small. My Kate Spade Personal size planner is just right. I am in planner heaven. Well mostly. I'm still figuring it out, but I love it!

5. What would be your best advice for engaging your audience as far as planner photos? How can you stay so creative and inspired?
My planner following is still pretty low. This year, I'm going to go full force planner mode. I've been doing research and seeing all the beautiful planner photos on instagram and on blogs. I'm going to incorporate some of the ideas that I've seen in my future planner photos. MORE PINK!!

6. What are your favorite pens?
My favorite pens that I have always used are the Pentel RSVP pens. They come in a variety of colors and they write so smooth. They don't smudge and are perfect on any paper. My next conquest though are the adorable gempens. I'm definitely going to start my collection soon!

7. What size planner do you prefer? A5 or personal?
I've never used and A5. It seems big and that is why I left Erin Condren in the first place. I'll stick with my personal size planner.

8. How did you get into planning?
I wish I knew. No one in my family is into it as much as I am. My little sister loves Erin Condren, but she uses it just for school. She doesn't even decorate. I know GASP! lol. I guess I have always needed a writing outlet, and planning is almost like having a journal. I really got into planning last year after going on YouTube and seeing all the planner addict videos. I realized I wasn't alone in this world with my weirdness and my love for it became an obsession.

9. What does your desk and storage/organization look like, do you have a system at home to house everything?
I am in the process of deciding how I am going to organize all my planner goodies. Right now I have a drawer with all my planner stuff but it is pretty much at Max Capacity. My desk is currently my bed, and my system is a 3 ring binder filled to the brim with planner stuff. As soon as I come up with an organization style, I will let you know lol.

10. What does your filming setup look like when you do a plan-with-me video? Do you have a tripod? What camera do you use?
I haven't done a plan with me video just yet. I am still getting the hang of my new Kate Spade, and I want it to be close to perfect before I start showing it off. Which is exactly why It's taken me this long to even write a post. I am still waiting for many etsy purchases to come in. I do know that I will be using my NEX-5R Sony Camera, and I will mostly do it from a top view. I am excited and I can't wait to finally do one.

11. What are your all time fave inserts?
There are so many inserts to choose from. I eventually want to try as many inserts and Etsy planner shops as I can, but for right now, I am loving the SewMuchCrafting inserts. The paper quality is amazing and the writing doesn't seep through.

12. How did you get your hands on the kate spade Wellesley?
My boyfriend, Chaz bought it for me for Christmas. I believe he ordered it off from Ebay but I am not 100% sure.

13. What's your holy grail of planners? Which one do you find the easiest to utilize daily and integrate into daily life?
Kate Spade. Duh. I have tried so many other planners and this one just beats all the rest. It's the perfect size. Not to big and not to small. It comes with the zipper so everything is nicely tucked away. My favorite part is that it has 3 rings. This makes it easy to add things to my planner or remove them.

14. When it comes to daily life planning what do you put in?
When I mentioned everything, I meant everything. My planner is my bible. I use it as my wallet, I use it as my appointment book, my food tracker, my car maintenance chart. I jot down notes, to do lists, favorite websites, favorite songs, online orders, grocery lists, job schedule, passwords, etc. Anything and everything that can go in a planner, is exactly what I use it for.

15. Would you say that you have found Planner Peace?
Yes. I am still getting the hang of my Kate Spade and I am still trying to figure out what sections and inserts, and stuff that I need and that I don't need. But I love that I have that option. With previous planners, that was not the case. With my Kate Spade, I have finally found it!

16. What are you looking most forward to for the upcoming planner year?
All the planner goodies that I am receiving from Etsy with in the upcoming weeks. I ordered from at least 10 different shops. I am also looking forward to the amount of stuff I plan on buying and the countless hours that I will spend planning, and going to Hobby Lobby. Planner Year 2016 is not ready for me (:

My Favorite Etsy Sticker & Planner Shops.

I don't know if you knew but I am a Planner Nerd. I obsess over planners and planner goodies. I spend an unimaginable amount of dinero on things that most people (most people meaning my boyfriend) believe is ridiculous and a waste of money.

But I don't care.

It makes me happy and that's all that matters. With all the Christmas Money that I asked Santa for, I plan (look at me always planning to plan) on splurging a bit on Etsy and buy all my future Kate Spade planner goodies. I already have a cart filled on Etsy with atleast 30 or more items in there. I am so excited and can't wait.

In the meantime, I thought I would share with you some of my favorite Etsy shops. Now to be fair, none of them are in order by favorites, and these are not all of my favorite Planner Shops. These are just the most recent ones that I have been looking at.

What are some of your Favorite Etsy Stores?

Where has all the Planner Peace gone?!

So ladies, the end of 2015 is coming to an end and the new year is coming fast. It's time to stock up on a 2016 planner and I am at a crossroads.

I've pretty much given up on Erin Condren. I love the life planner, but until they come up with smaller sizes I don't see myself purchasing another. I love the size and the amount of space, but I am left with many blank spaces and a painful shoulder from carrying it my purse all day. On top of the fact that my past ordering experiences with Erin Condren have not been smooth. The first time I ordered they didn't send me a few of the products that I paid for. (I still have yet to receive them and they still have yet to respond to my customer service email) and the 2nd time I ordered a life planner, I paid for super fast delivery, It still took them 3 weeks to send it to me. I understand that it takes a while to personalize and get the planners ready but if I pay an extra $30 to recieve it quicker, I expect to get it quicker. Not the same amount of time as no priority. Don't get me wrong, I would always reccomend Erin Condren because I still love all her products, but It's just not for me anymore. So goodbye Erin Condren.

Now I'm stuck with no planner.

Or so I thought. At least up until a week ago.

Last month a good friend of mine who is another planner groupie was raving about the Kate Spade Wellesley Planners. She mentioned it to me but I was so wrapped up with Erin that I didn't think a second thought about it. Last week she posted up an instagram photo of her rose gold one and I immediately got hooked. I remember she told me that her husband bought her a color of each, so i slightly mentioned to her that I wanted one! I was two late. She sold the black one 2 weeks before. So now I am on the hunt for my Kate Spade Wellesley.

The only place to find them is by buying them online from a second party, either from ebay, amazon, or the facebook groups. You can not find them at the Kate Spade stores or outlet (unless you are the luckiest person alive) and you can not find them on her website. I just don't understand. With how high in demand these Zipper planners are, you think Kate Spade would always keep them stocked and easy to purchase just like her regular agendas.

On the sad side, people are selling them at ridiculous amounts. A beautiful Red Wellesley is going for $500 on ebay. I've even seen them up to $1000. I love planners and I am a planner addict as much as the next lady, but no way in my right or wrong mind would I ever cough up that much cash for a planner. No matter how absolutely perfect it is.

So I'm waiting for after christmas to see if the ebay prices go down as well as crossing my finger that someone loves me enough to spend that ridiculous amount of money on me.

I have already done as much obsessing and as much research as any normal planner girl should do on any planner. The minute I buy my planner, I am buying all the cute little inserts and planner goodies my little heart desires. Etsy is going to love me by the time they take all my money!!

I hope I know that once I have this planner I will finally be at planner peace mode.

I need it to be.

Happy Holidays ♥

My Twenty Sixteen Planner Plan.

2016 is coming up quick and its time to start thinking about what I'm going to do about my planner for the upcoming year. I also need to start figuring out what I can do differently to better my planning experience. Yes, I plan on planning. Only true Planner Addicts do. Do not judge LOL. I have been an avid Planner/ Agenda user since I was a little girl. Every year I become more and more obsessed.

For 2016, I'm thinking about doing it a bit differently.

I have been with Erin Condren for years now. Out off all the planners out there, she is still my favorite pick. But the planners are so big. I love the size and bulkiness because of the amount of space, but I hate having to carry it around. It's starting to way down on my shoulders and I don't know how much more buldge my bag can take. Now that I am carrying a journal everywhere with me as well as my gigantic Nicholas Sparks novel, my bag is about to explode. Carrying my planner, is becoming less and less of an option.

This year I decided I am going to buy a different planner.

GASP! I know, but wait don't be alarmed.

I am still going to get the Life Planner, but I'm keeping it more as a look back journal. It will be more of a desk planner that will stay at home instead of being stuffed in my not big enough purse. I want to purchase an extra planner that I can carry around with me. Something little. A smaller one that I can use to just right appointments and reminders and things that I don't want to forget.

I'll probably just stop at the local Barnes and Noble and pick up a mini non expensive planner, but I am considering some online planner shopping.

If you're on the same boat as me, here are some Erin Condren alternatives.

Do you guys have any planner favorites that you can help a sister out with? Let me know ♥

I will keep you posted on the search for my 2016 Planner!

My Planner Story.

I have a problem. A serious issue. I am a planner addict. I live, breathe, sleep planners. My planner is my bible, my journal, my life. A SERIOUS PROBLEM. I have been a planner addict since I can remember. I'm talking elementary school remembrance. I have spent countless amounts of Money on planners/organizers/agendas and even more ridiculous amounts of money on supplies & stickers for my planner habit. Yes, I have a problem.

The current planner that I am captivated by and have been obsessed with for quite some time is the Erin Condren Life Planner. I chose the E-Sea life planner because as you all know I am obsessed with the ocean. This is my 2nd year using the Life planner. I first used the EC life planner back in 2012 before #planneraddicts was ever really a thing and I thought I was the only one who was obsessed. I didn't know there was a whole world of other planner addicts like me.

Honestly one of my favorite Hashtags to spend hours looking at is #PlannerAddicts. In fact, I can waste spend my days just looking through all and any planner hashtags. It's planner heaven!

I took a short break from using the Erin Condren life planner after 2013. My schedule was hectic and I wanted something smaller, easy to carry around. and a planner that didn't need as much attention. I began using the Paperblanks Day Planner line. I loved the sophistication and tininess of the planners. They had a variety of sizes and even larger varieties of colorful covers.

The first planner from the Paperblank line that I used was the 2013 - 2014 Week at a Time Planner Mini in Filigree Floral Ivory. It was small and could pretty much fit in my pocket. I loved it. I loved the design and how it barely took up any space in my purse. But like any true Planner lady, I got frustrated with the limited amount of space. I then went on the hunt for the same class but something bigger.

The second planner that I used for 2014 - 2015 (or at least the first 2 months) was from the Paperblanks  Laurel Burch Whimsical Creations line. I used the Ocean Song in Midi. It's the exact same style as my first Paperblank planner on the inside but slightly larger than the mini and had more space to write in. Plus it had a beautiful mermaid in the front.

Again, like any normal Planner enthusiast. I was missing my overly large planners with extra space and the will to decorate instead of being so fancy (and boring). In early February, I saw an Erin Condren Life Planner ad, and at 2 in the morning, my impulsive planner brain purchased the 2015 life planner. I am planning and decorating and organizing and obsessing like never before.

This is the spread from last week. See all the decorating and washi tape love?! I think I'm going to be sticking to Erin Condren Life Planners for a while. There is so much space and so many different ways to decorate these planners. I've even already asked Chaz for the 2016 Life planner (Life in Little Squares) for Christmas.

Are you as much of a planner fanatic as me? What planner are you using at the moment if you are? I'm going to be posting a lot more about planners and stuff so stick around my little blog space.
