My Planner Story.

I have a problem. A serious issue. I am a planner addict. I live, breathe, sleep planners. My planner is my bible, my journal, my life. A SERIOUS PROBLEM. I have been a planner addict since I can remember. I'm talking elementary school remembrance. I have spent countless amounts of Money on planners/organizers/agendas and even more ridiculous amounts of money on supplies & stickers for my planner habit. Yes, I have a problem.

The current planner that I am captivated by and have been obsessed with for quite some time is the Erin Condren Life Planner. I chose the E-Sea life planner because as you all know I am obsessed with the ocean. This is my 2nd year using the Life planner. I first used the EC life planner back in 2012 before #planneraddicts was ever really a thing and I thought I was the only one who was obsessed. I didn't know there was a whole world of other planner addicts like me.

Honestly one of my favorite Hashtags to spend hours looking at is #PlannerAddicts. In fact, I can waste spend my days just looking through all and any planner hashtags. It's planner heaven!

I took a short break from using the Erin Condren life planner after 2013. My schedule was hectic and I wanted something smaller, easy to carry around. and a planner that didn't need as much attention. I began using the Paperblanks Day Planner line. I loved the sophistication and tininess of the planners. They had a variety of sizes and even larger varieties of colorful covers.

The first planner from the Paperblank line that I used was the 2013 - 2014 Week at a Time Planner Mini in Filigree Floral Ivory. It was small and could pretty much fit in my pocket. I loved it. I loved the design and how it barely took up any space in my purse. But like any true Planner lady, I got frustrated with the limited amount of space. I then went on the hunt for the same class but something bigger.

The second planner that I used for 2014 - 2015 (or at least the first 2 months) was from the Paperblanks  Laurel Burch Whimsical Creations line. I used the Ocean Song in Midi. It's the exact same style as my first Paperblank planner on the inside but slightly larger than the mini and had more space to write in. Plus it had a beautiful mermaid in the front.

Again, like any normal Planner enthusiast. I was missing my overly large planners with extra space and the will to decorate instead of being so fancy (and boring). In early February, I saw an Erin Condren Life Planner ad, and at 2 in the morning, my impulsive planner brain purchased the 2015 life planner. I am planning and decorating and organizing and obsessing like never before.

This is the spread from last week. See all the decorating and washi tape love?! I think I'm going to be sticking to Erin Condren Life Planners for a while. There is so much space and so many different ways to decorate these planners. I've even already asked Chaz for the 2016 Life planner (Life in Little Squares) for Christmas.

Are you as much of a planner fanatic as me? What planner are you using at the moment if you are? I'm going to be posting a lot more about planners and stuff so stick around my little blog space.

  1. I don't have a planner. I should get one but I am not that important to have one. Plus I don't wanna spend the money on them :p

  2. I purchased the Me and My Big Ideas planner kit, extra supplies and cute stickers. Now I'm able to organize my hectic work, home, kids and school life. I work full time, go to school and full time Mom. I cannot believe I went without one for so long.
